Each day it’s a reality I’m
a prisoner of every nationality
Things we do in our life today
catches up with us someday
Some get by some get caught
coming to prison was never a thought
Just finding ways to survive
I thank God I’m still alive
When they told me I was under arrest
My heart nearly burst in my chest
They sentenced me to some time indeed
it was the Lord telling me to take heed
He said my child at the time you were
falling from my grace
I had to save you by allowing you to come
to such a place.
My freedom was taken away now I will be
walking out this place in a few days.
